Wiatry Magii

A chronicle of our Warhammer journey - painting, battles, and hobby adventures.

Finished and Ready for Battle

A short but very satisfying milestone: done.

end3r dropped a photo of the finished miniatures into the chat and, honestly, that was enough to boost the whole group’s mood immediately. There is something special about seeing a painted force finally come together as a complete set — not just a work-in-progress on the desk, but something that already looks ready to hit the table.

Finished painted miniatures

Michał summed it up perfectly with a simple “Sztos”, and then went straight to the most important part of the hobby cycle: the excitement before the first proper game. As he put it, he can’t wait to start smashing things. And honestly? Same.

This is one of our favorite moments in the hobby — when painting is finished, the army or warband is standing there in full color, and all that remains is to get it onto the battlefield. Finishing models always gives us that extra push to actually schedule games, roll dice, and enjoy the payoff for all the time spent with brushes, paints, and half-finished ideas.

So this one is simple: a completed project, a very positive reaction, and a lot of hype for the battles to come.

Now we just need to play.
