Another Round with the Kościelec Crew

Event snapshot

We had another round with the Kościelec crew, and it looks like the table was just as important as the standings this time.

From the quick updates and photos, this was one of those hobby meetups that remind us why local events are so much fun: good opponents, solid tables, and that little bit of tournament tension when the rankings start to matter.

KO at the top

The headline result from the round was simple: KO was sitting at the top of the table. Always nice to see a familiar face pushing to the front and giving everyone else something to chase.

Even from a short update, you can feel that classic event energy — checking results, looking at pairings, and immediately wondering what the next round is going to bring.

A reminder of how good early Warcry terrain was

One extra thing that stood out in the conversation was the terrain. We had to agree with the comment: the terrain set from 1st edition Warcry was really cool.

There is just something about those older Warcry boards and scenery kits. They had a ton of character, made tables feel dense and dramatic, and instantly gave games that proper skirmish-in-the-ruins vibe. Even a single photo is enough to trigger a bit of nostalgia.

Small update, strong hobby mood

This was a short exchange, but it captured a lot of what we enjoy about event days:

  • another round with a friendly local group,
  • standings worth watching,
  • and terrain that makes us want to set up a table immediately.

If nothing else, it is a nice little reminder that a good Warcry event does not need much commentary — sometimes a couple of photos and a quick result are enough to bring the whole atmosphere back.
