A Great Day for the Hobby Table: New Printer, New Spearhead, and a Painting Podium

We love those hobby days when everything seems to happen at once. This was definitely one of them.

First, Michał was getting ready for the arrival of a printer — always an exciting moment, because we all know that a new tool in the hobby space usually means fresh ideas, new projects, and at least a little bit of reorganising the desk to make room for it.

And as if that wasn’t enough, there was also another Spearhead joining the collection. We’re not complaining — quite the opposite. Spearhead has that dangerous energy of “just one more box”, and somehow it keeps working on us.

But the real highlight of the day was the painting competition result: 1st place. On top of that, there was also a 3rd place for a Polish participant. That’s the kind of news that instantly boosts the mood in the group chat.

When the photos dropped, the reaction was immediate. End3r summed it up perfectly: “oh wow, that’s amazing” — and honestly, same. The thing that stood out right away were the gradients. Smooth, striking, and exactly the kind of paintwork that makes you stop scrolling and zoom in.

It’s always cool to see hobby momentum build like this: new equipment arriving, new boxed projects appearing, and painting results that remind us why we keep pushing ourselves to improve. A very good day for the brush-and-plastic side of life.

And yes — now we’re curious what comes out of that printer setup next.
