Grey Drybrush Energy and Another Build Done
We had one of those very relatable hobby moments this week: a bit of painting banter, a fresh build on the desk, and the kind of enthusiasm that appears immediately after gluing a model together.
It started with pegie casually dropping the classic offer:
“I have experience in drybrushing. Do you want everything in grey? ;)”
Honestly, that kind of confidence is always welcome at the hobby table. Drybrushing may be the old reliable, but it works for a reason — and the all-grey joke landed exactly as it should.

A little later, Michał reported the real progress update:
“Another one assembled!”
And that was followed by the even more important assessment:
“It’s going to be awesome.”
We respect that energy deeply. There is a very specific kind of hobby satisfaction in getting a model cleanly assembled and immediately seeing the final version in your head, even before primer touches plastic.

Then came the detail that every builder understands:
“I was even getting the peg into the hole on the inside!”
That may not sound dramatic to non-hobby people, but we know the truth. Sometimes proper alignment feels like a personal victory over the laws of reality, mold lines, and tiny contact points.

And of course, the group verdict arrived shortly after:
“Nice!”
Short, accurate, and fully deserved.

So this was not a massive battle report or a huge painting milestone — just a small slice of hobby life that we always enjoy: jokes about painting everything grey, the satisfaction of another finished build, and that little burst of motivation that comes with seeing a project come together.
Sometimes that is exactly what keeps the hobby moving.
