A Proper Pig-Fuelled Army from Last Month’s Event

Last month, Michał dropped a little treasure from a recent event into our chat: a full army list, the general, three piggies, and then, as he put it, four more of those. That was honestly enough to make us stop for a moment and appreciate the sheer energy of the army.

There is something deeply satisfying about a force built around a strong central character and a whole lot of brutal hog-powered momentum. Even without a full battle report, the vibe comes through immediately: this was not a subtle army.

The list from the event

Michał shared the full list first:

Army list from the event

A good event list always tells a story, and this one definitely does. You can immediately see the focus here: hit hard, move fast, and let the boars do a lot of the talking.

The general

Then came the general:

The general

A proper centerpiece model. We love seeing armies where the general really looks like the boss of the whole warband, and this one absolutely has that feel.

Three little warthogs

After that, Michał sent what he called three piglets:

Three piggies

And honestly, this may be the most important part of the whole army. Every hobbyist knows that sometimes an army is technically about strategy, points, and battlefield roles — but emotionally, it is about the pigs.

And four more

Because apparently three were not enough, there were also four more of the same kind:

Four more piggies

At this point the theme is undeniable, and we are fully on board with it.

Why we liked this so much

What we enjoy most in little hobby shares like this is that they capture the fun of the scene perfectly. Not every post-event memory needs to be a full breakdown of pairings, scores, and meta calls. Sometimes it is enough to say:

  • here is the list,
  • here is the general,
  • here are the pigs,
  • and yes, there are even more pigs.

That is already a complete and beautiful story.

If nothing else, this was a very strong reminder that a memorable event army does not just perform on the table — it also leaves people talking about it afterwards.

And in this case, we are definitely talking about the pigs.
