Plebs Finished — and Absolutely Meaty
We had a small but very satisfying painting milestone this time: Pegi finished the Plebs.
From the photos alone, the first reaction in our chat says it all — “what a slab of meat” — and honestly, that really captures the vibe. These models have that raw, heavy, brutal look that just works when the paint scheme lands.
What really sealed it was the finishing step. As Pegi put it, the Berserker Bloodshade shade sat on them perfectly. And yeah, sometimes that’s exactly how it feels: one wash, one final layer, and suddenly the whole miniature clicks together.
It’s always fun when a paint choice does so much of the heavy lifting in the final look. Here it seems to have brought out all the fleshy, grimy, visceral character we’d want from this kind of model.

Short update, but a good one: finished models, a paint recipe that worked, and a result with loads of character. We’re definitely counting that as a hobby win.
