One Finished Is Better Than None
We know this feeling very well: the plan says three painted models, reality says one, and somehow that still counts as a small hobby win.
This time, end3r dropped in with exactly that kind of update — three were supposed to be ready, but in the end only one made it over the finish line. And honestly? One is still infinitely better than zero.

There’s still a grenade launcher to push through tomorrow, so the squad isn’t fully done yet. But the important part is that progress is happening, brushes are moving, and the army is getting closer to the table.
We also had a very relatable bit of hobby honesty here: there’s going to be some proxying involved. But you know what? If it lets the game happen, that’s what matters. Not every project lands exactly on schedule, and not every unit is perfectly WYSIWYG right away. Sometimes the key goal is simply to get the minis painted enough, assembled enough, and ready enough to roll dice.
That’s a big part of the hobby rhythm for us — ambitious plans, slightly less ambitious results, and still being happy that something got finished. Because every single completed model makes the next one easier.
So this is a small painting update, but a very real one: one model done, grenade launcher next, a bit of proxying, and a playable force in sight. We’ll absolutely take that.
