That Starter Set Really Got Us

Michał dropped a whole series of photos into the chat and, honestly, the reaction was immediate: this looks really good.

From the messages alone, one thing was clear — this is a two-player starter set, and it made a strong first impression. Sometimes that’s all it takes in this hobby: a few photos, a good box, and suddenly we’re already imagining what it would be like to crack it open, sort the sprues, and get some games in.

“ale to jest dobreeee”

That pretty much sums up the mood.

Starter sets have a special kind of magic. They’re often the easiest way to pull two people into a system at once, and they usually promise that nice mix of models, rules, and a ready-made excuse to start playing immediately. Even without a longer discussion, the excitement here was very relatable: this looked like the kind of box that makes you stop scrolling and take a proper look.

We’re leaving the details light here, because the conversation itself was basically a burst of enthusiasm plus photos rather than a full breakdown of contents. But that first impression? Very strong.

If this box lands on one of our hobby desks for real, there’s a good chance this first-impression post will get a follow-up with plastic, paint, and hopefully a few battle reports.
