Combat Patrol Votann Ready for Battle
We had one of those wonderfully chaotic hobby chat moments this week: a mysterious image forwarded from Marek with the glorious caption “Votann on the rise”, followed shortly after by the much more concrete and exciting update from Ender:
CP Votann reporting 100% combat readiness
And honestly, that was the important part.
The Leagues of Votann have clearly been moving up the painting queue, because seeing a full Combat Patrol finished and ready for the table is always satisfying. There is something especially nice about hitting that milestone: not just a unit here or a character there, but a complete playable force prepared for action.

Even if the first shared image arrived with some of the chart descriptions cut off, the message still came through loud and clear: Votann stocks are up.

We also have to appreciate Ender’s immediate response to the mysterious infographic energy:
“I don’t know what’s going on, but I like it ;P”
Honestly, same.
From a hobby point of view, this is exactly the kind of update we love seeing in our group chat. A bit of confusion, a bit of meme energy, and then suddenly: boom, a fully painted force standing at attention. That is the good stuff.
Getting a Combat Patrol done is a great achievement in itself. It means the army is no longer just a plan, a pile of sprues, or a half-painted promise. It is something you can put on the table, roll dice with, and proudly show off. And for Leagues of Votann in particular, that compact, solid, heavily equipped look really works when the whole patrol is assembled together.
So this one is a short hobby salute: congratulations to Ender on getting the Votann Combat Patrol to full battle readiness. We are always happy to see painted armies crossing the finish line.
Now the only question is: what rises next?
