Quick Stop at WAE: Tables Set, Dice Rolling
We had one of those very relatable hobby days: half logistics, half excitement, and fully worth it.
On 24 July the crew started converging on WAE for some gaming. Wilini was still finishing work and already planning the trip properly — especially since he needed to buy something there anyway. Meanwhile, the first reports started coming in from the venue: Michał was already on site, and End3r dropped the classic message we all love to see before a game day:
“We’re setting up.”

That moment always has a special energy. Terrain coming out, cases opening, people figuring out where exactly the gaming room is, and the whole thing slowly turning from “we should meet up” into actual games on actual tables.
Wilini was racing straight from work and, in true event-day fashion, had the most important practical question of all:
“How do you even get into the room where people are playing?”
Very real. Very hobby.
A little later, Stas managed to drop by just long enough to say hello and catch the start of the action. As he put it, he came in to exchange high-fives because the boys had just started playing — and then had to head back out to earn money for more miniatures. Honestly, that might be one of the most Warhammer sentences ever written.
From the photos, you can really feel the atmosphere: tables ready, armies out, and that early-game focus where everyone is still fresh, optimistic, and probably convinced the dice will behave.

This wasn’t some grand tournament report or a full campaign recap — just a snapshot of a normal, good hobby day: people arriving in waves, tables getting built, games kicking off, and somebody inevitably balancing work, shopping, and toy soldiers in one afternoon.
And honestly, we love those days just as much.
If nothing else, this little meetup captured the full spirit of the hobby: show up when you can, get the tables ready, greet your people, and if you have to leave early… at least make it count with a few high-fives.
