What an Absolute Beast: A Skaven Monster Purchase
We love those hobby moments when a new model arrives and the first reaction is basically just: “what an absolute beast.” That was exactly the vibe this time.
Michał dropped a couple of photos into chat and the scale of this thing immediately did all the talking. It’s one of those miniatures that looks big in previews, and then you see it next to other Skaven nasties and realize it’s actually huge.
For comparison, the model riding in the back is a natural-sized Rat Ogor, which already says a lot about how massive this new arrival is.
And if that wasn’t enough, even the Brood Terror looks tiny next to it. That’s really the kind of comparison that sells the whole thing better than any product description ever could.
Also, full respect for the classic hobby disclaimer from Michał: sorry for the mess. Honestly, we consider that an essential part of any real unboxing or first-impressions photo. If the desk is a bit chaotic, it just means actual hobby things are happening.
This is definitely one of those purchases that makes us want to clear some space on the painting table immediately. Big Skaven monsters just have that effect.
