Preorder Temptation: Three Armies for 2800 PLN
Michał dropped a dangerous message on the chat: “tomorrow preorder”. And then the follow-up that immediately got our attention: a set of 3 armies for 2800 PLN.
That was exactly the kind of hobby news that makes us stop whatever we’re doing and start zooming in on product photos, counting sprues in our heads, and wondering whether this is a good deal or a very dangerous deal.
We got a few preview images first, so naturally the discussion started with staring at the box contents and trying to figure out how much plastic, how many future painting hours, and how much shelf space this thing would actually mean.

The next day Michał came back with the very fitting update: “it started well :)”
Which, in hobby language, usually means one thing: the preorder morning delivered exactly the kind of chaos, excitement, and wallet damage we expected.

We’re not going to pretend we’re immune to big army boxes. A bundle like this always pushes the same buttons: value, variety, and the dangerous illusion that starting three forces at once is somehow a reasonable idea. It probably isn’t. That has never stopped anyone.
At this stage we mostly have the excitement of the announcement, the price point, and the preorder energy — but honestly, that’s already enough to mark the moment. These are the little hobby flashpoints we know well: someone spots a release, drops it into chat, and suddenly we’re all mentally reorganising hobby plans.
If this set does end up landing on one of our tables, then we already know what comes next: box photos, assembly progress, debates about who gets which army, and eventually the slow march from grey plastic to painted forces.
For now, we’ll just say this: three armies for 2800 PLN is exactly the sort of sentence that can make a normal day much more expensive.
