A Tiny Nurgle Parade: Chaos Warriors, Plaguebearers, Nurglings and More

We had one of those very short exchanges that still says everything about a painting session: a fresh batch of Nurgle-flavoured minis hit the chat, and the reaction was immediate — little masterpieces.

This time the lineup was wonderfully chaotic: Chaos Warriors, Plaguebearers, Nurglings, a Herald of Nurgle, and five Furies. A proper mixed warband, full of grime, character, and that very specific kind of charm that only the followers of Grandfather Nurgle seem to pull off so well.

Painted Chaos Warriors, Plaguebearers, Nurglings, Herald of Nurgle and Furies

Michał dropped the photo into the chat with a simple roll call of what had been painted, and honestly, that was enough. Stas summed it up perfectly with: “small masterpieces.” We have to agree — this is exactly the kind of collection shot we love seeing. Not just because there are a lot of finished models in one place, but because every group here brings a slightly different vibe:

  • Chaos Warriors bring the heavy, threatening presence.
  • Plaguebearers add that classic Nurgle weirdness.
  • Nurglings are, as always, disgusting in the most adorable way possible.
  • The Herald of Nurgle ties the whole rotten crew together.
  • The Furies add a bit of motion and wild energy to the set.

It is also the kind of project we really enjoy on the painting side of the hobby: not just a single centerpiece, but a whole spread of models that already looks like it belongs together on the table. Even from one photo, you can feel the consistency of the force.

And yes, the chat commentary immediately went in the classic hobby-group direction too, because of course it did.

Short post, but a very satisfying one: a finished batch, a strong theme, and a lot of character packed into one image. We are always happy to see painted Nurgle forces, especially when they look this fun.

If this is the standard for “just posting a photo in chat,” then we definitely want more of that.
