Mini of the Month: Some Proper Tough Lizards
We had a very small but very relatable hobby moment in chat this time: a freshly shared Mini of the Month and an immediate jump into table talk.
Wilini dropped in a photo of the model, and Stas instantly recognized the unit from the battlefield — he had just played with them against René. That led to a quick summary we absolutely understand as Warhammer players: these are tough lizards.
According to Stas, they felt a bit like Black Orcs, but with slightly lower Weapon Skill. On the other hand, they make up for it with Cold Blooded and AP-1, which is a pretty nice package. Even from just a short exchange, we can already see why they left an impression on the table.
This is exactly the kind of thing we like in the hobby: one painted mini or one photo is enough to spark a whole chain of thoughts about games, unit comparisons, and how a model actually performs once the dice start rolling.
A tiny painting post, sure — but also a nice reminder that every model has two lives: one on the painting desk, and one on the battlefield.
