A Beautiful Mini That Got Us Dreaming of Kislev
Sometimes a single painted mini is enough to kick off a whole hobby daydream.
When Wilini dropped this one into our chat, the reaction was immediate. End3r called it a “nice dude,” Staś went straight for “awesome model,” and Michał summed it up best: it’s just plain beautiful. And honestly, we get it.
There are models that are cool, and then there are models that make the whole group stop for a moment and just appreciate how good they look. This was definitely one of those. Even from a quick shared photo, it had that kind of presence that makes us want to immediately talk about painting plans, future armies, and all the stuff we’d love to see from Games Workshop.
The most interesting part of the chat was where Michał went next with it: hoping that in the coming years we’ll get Kislev shown with miniatures this cool. And honestly, yes — that’s a dream we can absolutely get behind.
Kislev has such a strong identity in Warhammer fantasy: harsh frontiers, heavy winter vibes, faith, grit, cavalry, fur, steel, and all that larger-than-life atmosphere. If we ever get a bigger range of modern Kislev models with this level of character and style, we’re going to be in serious trouble hobby-wise.
This is one of those little moments we really enjoy as a group — somebody shares one model, everybody immediately starts hyping it up, and within a few messages we’re already imagining entire future releases and armies we’d probably end up painting.
Short version: gorgeous mini, great reaction from the gang, and now we’re once again thinking about how amazing a proper Kislev range could be.
