A New Renegade for Vampire Counts — Time to Field More Vampires

Sometimes a tiny rules update is all it takes to get us excited about an army again. This time, Michał dropped the news that there is a new Renegade option for Vampire Counts, and honestly, that immediately made us smile.

Up to now, the usual problem was pretty simple: in many lists, one vampire was already more than enough. That meant a lot of cool models stayed on the shelf, even if we really liked them.

And that is exactly why this little change feels so fun — suddenly those extra vampire models might finally have a real place on the table.

“At last my 5 vampire models will be useful.”

We completely get that feeling. There is something deeply satisfying about seeing a rule or list option appear that suddenly validates models we already own and want to play. Not because we need an excuse to collect vampires — obviously we do not — but it is always better when the collection and the army list finally line up.

So for now, this is less of a full tactical breakdown and more of a hobby spark: a new idea, a new excuse to revisit Vampire Counts, and maybe a reason to build lists that go a bit heavier on the bloodsuckers than before.

If nothing else, it is a great moment to dust off those vampire models and start thinking about what kind of army they could lead.
